Willie Mae Miller Gosnell Michalowski, age 87 of Murphy's Lane, died Friday, June 6, 2014. She was born on July 9, 1926 in Spartanburg Co, SC to the late Robert Lee and Mary Alice Truelove Miller. She had attended Victory in Jesus in Lincolnton. Willie Mae enjoyed fishing and watching wrestling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Theodore Roosevelt Gosnell; her 2nd husband, John Michalowski; son, Thomas Gosnell; daughters, Joyce Riley and Shirley Schierbaum; two grandsons; a granddaughter; and 8 siblings.

Survivors include her son, Evangelist Charles "Sonny" Gosnell (Brenda) of Bessemer City; daughters, Alice Patricia Toller (Donald) of Bessemer City, and Jean Poteat (Bobby) of Stanley; sixty-two grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; and twenty-two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 6:30 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Cathy Black officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:15 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee, SC.
