Tracy Arthurs McGinnis

Tracy Arthurs McGinnis, age 67, of East Church Street passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born January 13, 1957 in Flint, Michigan to the late Jimmy Arthurs and Shirley Lail Brittain.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 5 year old brother, Todd Arthurs; and her husband, Timothy McGinnis.

Survivors include her daughters, Mindy Dyson, Stevie Hoyle, and Whitney McGinnis; brothers, Doug Arthurs (Janet), Dan Arthurs, and Spunk Arthurs; eight grandchildren; and long-term friend and companion, Douglas Neill.

As the only girl in a family of boys, Tracy was devoted to her family including the care of her mother while undergoing treatment for cancer. She enjoyed vacations and spending time at home with her family. She was fun-loving with a witty sense of humor and always accepting of others. She was a great cook and dearly loved her animal companions. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held later this summer on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Location and time for the Celebration of Life will be announced closer to the gathering via the local newspaper.
