Tonda Dellinger

Tonda Lynn Pruett Dellinger, age 53, of Harrilson Road, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at CMC Main. She was born January 19, 1962 in Cleveland County to Shirley Pruett Morgan of Shelby and the late Grover "Bud" Ray Pruett. Tonda was employed by Gaston County Schools Transportation, Data Entry Department. She was a member Second Baptist Church, where she was a nursery worker and active with Bible school. Tonda loved riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle and adored her granddaughter.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband of 35 years, Robert Donald "Donnie" Dellinger of the home; a daughter, Annie Dellinger and Fiancée, Heath Walker of Cherryville; a granddaughter, Shyanne Dellinger; a brother, Kenneth Pruett (Sue) of Stanley; sisters, Teena Pruett Sigmon (Ricky) of Cherryville, and Teela Pruett Allen (Scott) of Cherryville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:30 to 3:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
