Timothy Biggerstaff

Timothy S. Biggerstaff, age 54, of Flay Road, Lawndale died January 22, 2015 at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte. Tim was born on Dec. 26, 1960 in Gaston Co., a son of Howard Biggerstaff, of Lawndale and the late Kathryn Nadine Powell Biggerstaff. He was a member of Cedar Grove Lutheran Church where he was a member of Lutheran Men in Mission. Mr. Biggerstaff was employed by radio station WLON where he proudly hosted the Morning Show, graduate of Gaston College, and was known for his wit and great sense of humor and having the last word.

In addition to his father he is survived by his daughter's Sarah Kathryn Biggerstaff, Samantha Carol Biggerstaff, and Amanda Sanford, sister's LeQuita Biggerstaff of Lawndale and Tonya Craig and husband Todd of Lawndale, niece and nephew Hannah Nadine Craig and Pate Todd Craig, and Uncle Dale Powell and Aunts Sue Brendle and Merle Beal.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 PM at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church with Rev. Dale Pederson officiating with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services from 6-8 PM and at other times at the home.
