Timmy Willard Upton

Timmy Willard “Tim” Upton, age 70 of Lawndale, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Atrium Health, Cleveland.  He was born August 8, 1953, in Lincoln County to the late Hillard Bernard and Lorene Ava Seagle Upton. Tim enjoyed hunting and fishing with P.J. Coleman and Jamie. He loved to shoot pool and spend time outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Kimmy Hillard Upton; and brother, Roger Upton.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda Sue Fredell Upton; stepchildren, P.J. Self, Sunday Gantt, and Vickie Hubbard; sister, Chris Love and husband, Robert; brothers-in-law, Robert Henderson, Albert Henderson, and Frankie Wix; sister-in-law, Marie Henderson; grandchildren, Kimberly Lance (Ben), Ashley Brittain, Billy Buff, Christopher Jenkins, and Jessica Patterson; and great grandchildren, Jasmin, Leona, Fenix, Selena, Edward, Haley, Holly, Destiny, and Peyton; and numerous nieces and nephews including Dorothy Dillon and James Henderson.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Clyde Price officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
