Tim Rayfield

Timothy Lamar Rayfield, age 58 of Cherryville, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at his residence.  He was born November 27, 1963 in Gaston County to the late William Audrey Rayfield and Lillie J. Conrad.  Tim enjoyed working on cars and “piddlin” around.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and doing yard work.  Tim was a family man and his greatest pleasure in life was time spent with his family and his grandson Axel.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Roxanne Huffstetler Rayfield; children, Kasey Wing, Ryan Rayfield, Trent Rayfield, and Lauren Godwin; grandson, Axel Pearson; siblings, Gayla Watford (Keith), Nancy Gladden, and Jeff Rayfield (Brenda); and stepsiblings, Larry Stone (Lucia), Dean Stone, and Kim McManus (Buddy).  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Christine Hoffman.

A time of remembrance will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.
