Terrie Smith

Terrie Lynn Hudson Smith, age 53 of Sunset Dr. passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 27, 1964 in Gaston County to the late Alfred William Hudson and Jennie Flowers Hudson Davenport. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandbabies.

Survivors include her sons, Joshua Wayne Hudson (Lisa) of Spartanburg, SC and Walter Barrett Davenport (Deidra) of Laurens, SC; grandchildren, Saphira Hudson and Tanner Crawford; sisters, Billie Pearson of Gastonia, Vickie Lyles of West Palm Beach, FL, and Becky Goble (Johnny) of Crouse; brothers, Charlie Blake (Kathy) of Gastonia and Michael Blake (Donna) of Kings Mountain; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 7:30 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Scott Whitney officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:15 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Gaston Memorial Park.
