Teresa Taylor Morgan

Teresa Taylor Morgan, age 77, of Vale, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Carolina Care and Rehabilitation of Cherryville. She was born May 11, 1947, in Lincoln County to the late Robert Earl and Helen Johnson Taylor.

Teresa was a graduate of West Lincoln High School and a member of Hulls Grove Baptist Church. She was a talented singer and played a variety of instruments at the church.

Survivors include her son, Joel Morgan; brother, Michael Taylor (Jimi) of Lilburn, Georgia; sister, Janet Gantt (Steve) of North Brook; granddaughter, Rachel Morgan; special friend, Bud Pendelton; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Teresa’s Life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Bobby Farmer officiating. 

Her family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
