Susie Morrison

Louise Carol Clontz “Susie” Morrison, age 69 of Requa Rd. crossed over into Glory Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at her residence.  She was born October 4, 1951 in Cleveland County to the late Kenneth and Evelyn Webb Clontz.  She was member of Second Baptist Church where she was the adult ladies Sunday School class teacher, sang in the choir, served on the care card team, and was a youth group leader and VBS leader.

Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Danny Reid Morrison; son, Daniel Morrison and wife, Erin of Sylva; grandchildren, Kailee Jewel and Mitchell Reid Morrison; and brothers, Jerry Clontz and wife, Janet of Shelby and Donald “Pete” Clontz of Shelby.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Lail and Pastor Josh Blevins officiating.  Burial will be private.
