Frannie Wylie

Sarah Frances Wylie, 66, of Rustover Lane, died Jan 12, 2018 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 12, 1951 in Cleveland County a daughter of the late Bonnie Edwin Foster, Sr. and Sarah Muriel Beam Foster. Frannie was a hairdresser, potter, and substitute teacher.
She was a lifetime member of Bess Chapel United Methodist Church where she was a member of the choir, a Sunday school teacher, Methodist women and other various capacities.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Jerry Thomas Wylie; children, Jesse Ryan Wylie and wife, Jenny of Vale, Michael Scott Wylie and wife, Jeannie of Cherryville, and Lean Ford and Rob Blackwell of Lincolnton; ten grandchildren, Makayla Wylie, Jenna Lynn Wylie, Jayci Wylie, Jacob Wylie, Levi Wylie, Austin Ford, Dustin Ford, Holly Blackwell, Landon Fitzpatrick, and Mason Fitzpatrick; and a brother, Bonnie Edwin Foster, Jr and wife, Kathy of Sherrills Ford.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at Bess Chapel United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Bill Taylor and Rev. Randi Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services and at other times at the home.
