Sandra Tate

Sandra Jean Beam Tate, age 52 of East 6th Street, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 at her residence. She was born on December 21, 1963 in Cleveland County to the late Hayward Hoover and Bessie Frances Hamrick Beam. She was a former manager at Tate's Grocery and Grill. Sandra was a member of True Gospel Holiness Church in Kings Mountain.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Roger Beam.

Survivors include her husband, Troy Gene Tate; son Tyler Duane Sellers (Ashley) of Cherryville; daughters, Crystal Shull of Charlotte and Felicia Shull of Cherryville; stepdaughters, Concetta Tate of Cherryville and Terry Ball of Vale; grandchildren, Carson Sellers and Katherine Ball; brother, Randy Beam of Cherryville; sisters, Kim Sain (Mark) and Karen Morrison (Keith) all of Cherryville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Revs. Rick and Leann Chapman and Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
