Robert Shuford

Robert Deal Shuford, age 67 of Vale passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at his residence.  He was born July 7, 1953 in Lincoln County to the late Thomas and Kathyrne Louis Deal Shuford.  Robert was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army.  He was diehard Grateful Dead fan and enjoyed listening to music.  Robert was a master carpenter and roofer.  He was a jack of all trades and took great pride in his work.  He always kept himself busy working around the house and enjoying the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Martin Shuford; and son, Keith Shuford.

Survivors include his son, Ryan Shuford; daughter, Leslie Shuford; brother, Marty Shuford and wife, Judith; sisters, Annette Shuford Stone and Judith Shuford-Overstreet and husband, Mike; and his loyal companion, Franklin.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced by the family.
