Robert "Bob" Eaker

Robert Coy “Bob” Eaker, age 74, formerly of Roberts Rd., Cherryville, and Lake Norman, passed away October 28, 2024, at Summerset Court. Bob was born November 29, 1949, in Cleveland County, to the late Phillip Arnold Eaker Sr. and Syble Heath Jenkins Eaker. He was a mechanic by trade. Bob loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers; Phillip Eaker, Jr., and William Eaker; and an infant sister, Donna Lee Eaker.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Lacindi Robinson, Wendy Jenkins, Mathew Eaker, and Mia Eaker; and numerous other relatives.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 1, 2024, at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery, with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.
