Rebecca Pearson

Rebecca Louise Neal Pearson, 88, of 211 Forgotten Lane, died June 16, 2018 at Peak Resources, Cherryville. She was born on Feb. 22, 1930 in Gaston Co. a daughter of the late Jesse Lee and Lanie Neil Neal. Rebecca was a member of Mt Beulah Baptist Church. She was an LPN formerly employed by Kings Mt. Hospital and retired from Gaston Co. Parks and Recreation. She was exceptional, dedicated care giver and loved to go and eat.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Pearson, and a brother, Robert Neal.

Survivors include many cousins and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11 AM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Fain Farmer officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services.
