Rebecca Mccurry

Rebecca Jane McCurry. Age 83 0f 500 Pine Grove Avenue, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at her home. She was born on March 23, 1929, the daughter of the late Lewis Dobbins and Minnie Elizabeth Grigg McCurry.` Rebecca was a member of the First Baptist Church ,and a retired accountant.

Survivors: a sister: Lorraine McCurry Griffin, of High Point, N. C., A nephew: Toby Griffin of Thomasville, N. C., a niece: Lori Lee of Springfield, Va. Great nieces and nephews: Jacob Lee, Gabriel Lee, Mallory Ingram, and Martha Claire Griffin. Numerous Cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Saturday, March 2, 2013, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating, burial will be in the Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service at the church, from 12:45PM to 1:15PM.
