Ray Valentine

Ray Thomas Valentine, age 85, of Shelby, NC, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Carolina Care Health and Rehabilitation. He was born February 9, 1936 in Cleveland County, to the late Lonus “L.E.” and Janie Rowe Dameron Valentine Sr.

He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force. He was also retired from Fasco Inc. of Shelby.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Lonus "Sparky" Ernest Valentine Jr.

Survivors include his nieces, nephew, and their families, Vivette Leonhardt and husband, Steve of Lincolnton, Velvet Champion and husband, Tommy of Cherryville, and Dane Valentine of Lincolnton, Trenton Champion of Lincolnton, and Haley Champion of Charlotte.

All Services will be private.
