Ralph Goins

Ralph Jenks Goins, Jr.,80, of 2780 X Ray Dr., Gastonia, formerly of Puett's Chapel Rd., died March 24, 2015, at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Cleveland Co. on May 5, 1934, to the late Ralph Jenks and Florence Wright Goins, Sr. He was a member of Venture Church Dallas and a graduate of Carson Newman University. Ralph was retired from Wix Corp., Goodwill Publishing, and formerly employed at Long Shoal Cotton Mill.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Cloninger; and brother, Billy Goins.

Survivors include his sister, Louise Lankford of Bessemer City, and Aquilla Lay and husband, Jimmy of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A private burial will be held at Hardin Church Cemetery.
