Peggy Clark

Peggy Pepper Clark, age 85 of Puetts Chapel Rd. passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Summit Place, Kings Mountain. She was born May 27, 1933 in Rowan County to the late James Joseph and Beulah Melinda Ketchie Pepper. Peggy was a member of First Assembly of God. She was an excellent homemaker and a talented seamstress. She enjoyed cross-stitch and needlepoint as well as working puzzles and wordfinds. She liked to watch the cooking channel and was a wonderful cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Clyne Clark; and sisters, Elizabeth Thompson, Ruby Thomas, and Annie Smith.

Survivors include her children, Jeffrey Paul Clark and wife, Cathy of Leesville, SC, Cynthia Dianne Clark of Bessemer City, and Sharon Clark Thornburg and husband, Robert of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Chris, Brian, and Joshua Clark, Nicholas and Ashley Sellers, Jamie Thornburg, and Allyson Cunningham; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous special nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM at First Assembly of God with Pastors Dennis Boyce and Lamar Creel officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow at Antioch Lutheran Church Cemetery.
