Nancy Pearson

Nancy Rabb Pearson, age 86, of Gastonia, passed away peacefully Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Peak Resources in Cherryville.  She was born June 26, 1936 in Gaston County to the late John Floyd and Ollie Barbee Rabb.  She was a member of Spencer Mountain Baptist Church. Nancy enjoyed all sorts of crafting, especially scrapbooking and floral arrangements.  She also enjoyed word puzzles and could often be found watching Hallmark Movies.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Marvin Eugene Pearson; sons, Dale Pearson and John Pearson; son-in-law, Mike Ratchford; and brother, Henry Dean Rabb.

Survivors include her daughters, Denise Ratchford and Dawn Hunt (Tim); daughters-in-law, Billie and Susan Pearson; grandchildren Chris Pearson (Jodie), Heather Pearson (Chad), Brian Pearson (Stephanie), Taylor Pearson, Tara Pearson, Kendall Hunt (Blake), Pearson Hunt, Miranda Davenport, Eric Raines, Matthew Khamsanhlong (Chrissy), Michael Raines (Alexis), Andrew Raines (Courtney), and Zoey Pearson; great-grandchildren, Aden, Arianna, Jasper, Khloe, Kaisen, Kallie, Kaelynn, Waylon, Hunter, Timmy, and Nathan.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2022, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.  Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
