Mildred Floyd

Mildred "Millie" Ann Cline Floyd, age 57 of Oak St. died Monday, July 14, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born on September 9, 1956 in Lincoln Co. to the late William Blaine and Lillie Mae Gordon Cline. Millie was formerly employed at Howell Mill and was a member of Patterson Springs Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Cline.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Jerry Floyd; sons, Shane Cline and Christopher Donaldson, both of Grover; daughter, Kelli Hernandez (Edgar) of Grover; brother, Dennis Cline of Dallas; sisters, Thelma Cline and Christine Stephens, both of Cherryville; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Ronnie Stephens officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 to 2:45 PM at prior to the service at the funeral home.
