Mary Jane Ehlers

Mary Jane Lail Ehlers, age 60, of West Academy Street, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022 at her residence, surrounded by her family. She was born June 29, 1962, in Lincoln County to Carolyn Slaughter Lail and the late Cletus Sylvestus “Jr.” Lail.  She graduated Cleveland Community College where she was on the Dean’s List and received her Associate’s for HVAC.  Mary Jane loved the Halloween Season and she enjoyed crocheting.

She was survived by her mother, Carolyn Slaughter Lail; son, Cory Ehlers; sister, Penny Orozco; brother, Cramer Lail and wife Patricia; and nieces and nephews, Keith Blanton, Carol Payne, Star Kaylor, Michelle Sherlin, Christopher Lail, Brandy Burns, and Sarah Sigmon.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 23, 2022 at the funeral home with Rev. Ricky Sigmon officiating.

Her family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.
