Margie Lineberger

Margie Sue Crocker Lineberger, age 85, died March 2, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 25, 1930 in Gaston County to the late William Ray and Mary Emma Eaker Crocker. Margie was employed as an insurance agent for Durham Life, inspector for Vale Hosiery and most recently retired from Keystone Powdered Metal Company. She was a 1948 graduate of Tryon High school and a former Sunday school teacher and choir member at St.Mark's Lutheran Church. Margie loved to crochet and had a green thumb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Olin Ray Crocker, Hurley D. Crocker and John H. "Sonny" Crocker.

She is survived by children, Kathy Gross and husband, Rick of Mills River, Jeffrey Lineberger of Crouse, Denise Traveria and husband, Carlos of Crouse, and Leslie Wright and husband, Marty of Kings Mountain; seven grandchildren, Samuel Beam, Amanda Laws, Danielle Browning, LT. Carlos S. Traveria, U.S.. Navy, Sierra Traveria, Megan Harrison, Holden Brittain; and nine Great-GrandChildren.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 4:00 PM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonathan Gantt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday in the fellowship hall from 2:30-3:45 PM.
