Marchan Holland

Marchan Holland, age 64 of E. 3rd. Ave died Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. She was born on June 8, 1950 in Gaston County to the late Robert Holland Jr. and Ruby O'Dell Welch Holland. Marchan loved music, watching movies and tv, and collecting dolls and stuffed animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Josephine McFalls.

Survivors include her brothers, Mitchell "Mickey" Hamacher and wife, Shelia of Cherryville, Robert Holland III and wife, Cheryl of Prosperity, SC, and Terry K. Holland of Columbia, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews, with a special thanks to Nephew, Dale and wife, Judy McFalls and family.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
