Sarah Lynn Bridges Drawdy, age 65, of Paw Jims Road, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Carolina Care and Rehabilitation of Cherryville. She was born November 21, 1958, in Gaston County to the late Martin and Betty Tate Bridges.
Lynn was a member of Gloryland Missionary Baptist Church where she held many capacities including former church treasurer, Sunday school teacher, and working with the youth. Lynn enjoyed trips to Myrtle beach and looking at lighthouses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister, Katherine Bridges, brother, Marty Bridges, and great-grandson, Houston Laine-Tate Burgess.
Survivors include her loving husband of 22 years, Samuel David Drawdy; son, David Fredell (Jennifer), daughter, Amy Fredell; stepdaughters, Cher Auton (Tim), and Shea Drawdy; sister, Diane Fredell (Wayne); sister-in-law, Debbie Bridges; grandchildren, Cheyenne Floyd (Nathan Burgess), Wyatt Floyd, Ava Harvey, Alyssa Fredell, Piper Fredell, and Kennedy Auton; great-grandson, Waylon Jace Burgess.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Gloryland Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Sigmon and Pastor David W. Murray, Jr. officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
