Luane Hoover

Luane Carol Sneed Hoover, age 59 of S. Depot St. died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Carolina's Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born on September 7, 1955 in Cleveland County to Sue Black Sneed of Cherryville and the late Robert Ozzie Sneed. She attended First Presbyterian Church. Luane was employed at Winn Dixie in Shelby for over 20 years. She then joined Walmart in Lincolnton until her transfer to Walmart in Cherryville, where she currently worked in the customer service department.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Wesley Lance Hoover of Charlotte; sister, Janie Ross of Cherryville; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at 4:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Bill Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Black Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
