Loretta Lynn Bradley Howell, age 55, of Cherryville, went home to be with her Savior and family that have gone on before on Thursday, June 27, 2024. She was born June 29, 1968, in Lincoln County to the late David Gerald and Ida Jane Abernathy Bradley. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and formerly employed at Cleveland Hospital for 18 years. Loretta was a kind and loving woman with a big heart. She never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. Her smile was contagious and had a way of making you feel at ease. Family meant everything to Loretta and you could always find her loving on her grandbabies, Jannie and Dallas and her furbabies, Princess and Sophia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Mellon; and brother, Hank Bradley.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dalton and Haily Howell; grandchildren, Jannie Howell and Dallas Howell; siblings, David Bradley, Susan Whitworth, Teresa Martin, Melissa Wacaster, and Stacey Bradley and wife, Jennifer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Huss officiating.
Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery.
