Linda Crain Woodard, age 70, of North Pink Street, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her residence. She was born January 30, 1952 in Cleveland County to Rev. Claude Crain and the late Cecil Doolittle Crain.
Linda was fun to be around. In her younger days, she enjoyed playing softball. She loved her children and grandchildren and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Claudette Crain.
She is survived by her father, Rev. Claude Crain: the father of her children, Glenn Dellinger; son, Chad Dellinger (Crystal), daughters, Jody Earney, and Skylar Woodard; sisters, Debbie Crain Woody (Eddie), and Sandra Crain Ramkissoon (Oz); grandchildren, Brittany Cantrell, Storm Cook, Derek Dellinger, Ashley Dellinger, Alysha Woody, and Levi Welch; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 10, 2022 at High Shoals Church of God with Rev. Gene Crain and Bishop Billy Dunigan officiating.
Burial will follow at High Shoals Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 prior to her service at the church.
