Kimmie Jerene “Kim” Sellers Heavner, age 70, of Lincolnton, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Wendover Hospice House. She was born November 27, 1953, in Lincoln County to the late Franklin Cline and Mazel Pauline Brown Sellers. Kim was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church and attended Hulls Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed being outdoors and loved watching the birds. She also loved flowers and picking roses. Kim was an incredible MeeMaw and MawMaw who took pride in keeping her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ronnie Cline Sellers; and sisters, Billie Ann Sellers, Frankie Sellers, Penny Goins, Vickie Lowman and Sherry Drum.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William “Scott” Heavner; daughter, Lori Drewery (Chad) stepdaughter, Kasey Bolding (Steve); stepson, Scotty Heavner (Millicent); sisters, Pat Mitchem, Shelby Jean Sneed; grandchildren, Mallory Hull (Austin), Maggie Beth Heavner, Ty Heavner, Gavin Drewery, Gabe Drewery, Aaron Heavner, and Winn Adams; great grandson on the way, Myles Hull; special niece, Rita Hopkins and numerous other nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Farmer officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45 PM on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
