Juanita Hill

Juanita Huffstetler Bennett Hill, 91, of Eaker Dr., died Saturday September 15, 2018 at Wendover Hospice. She was born October 24, 1926 in Cleveland County to the late Arthur Wright and Docia Ella Dover Huffstetler. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church and retired from the Rhyne Houser Mill. She found great pleasure in mowing her grass, gardening, and the Atlanta Braves. Juanita also liked to rearrange her furniture.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Wilson Bennett, Jr. and Roland Hill; two sons, Michael Jacob and Robert Eugene Bennett; and her granddaughter.

Survivors include her children, Sherry Hayes, Mary Anne Bennett (Terry Jenkins), and Rocky Bennett (Lynn) all of Cherryville; fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Horn of Kings Mountain.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:45 PM at the church and at other times at the home.
