Joyce Thomas

Joyce Ann Thomas, age 68 of Cherryville passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at her residence.  She was born September 3, 1954, in Cleveland County to the late Louise Roper Rhom and George Carlton Thomas.  She was formerly employed with Upchurch Garden Center and loved plants and animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Rhom; and brother, Jerry Thomas.

Survivors include her sister, Betty Jo Trejo; nephew, Jorge Trejo; and niece, Paula Thomas.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 24, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Will Upchurch officiating.
