Jimmie Cain

Jimmie Lee Cain, age 78 of Eaker Dr. passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Atrium Health Cleveland. He was born August 3, 1940 in Hughes County, OK to the late Vonnie Lee and Vera Stanley Cain. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Air Force with 28 years of service and formerly employed at Oklahoma Christian College, PPG, and Conrail. Jimmie was a member of many clubs including 202 Red Horse Unit, Camp Blanding FL., The Texas Trouble Makers and Single Action Shooters. SGT. Cain was a practical joker who never met a stranger and loved his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Edward H. Cain and an infant sister.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Patricia Ann Boehm Cain; daughters, Colleen Lasalle and husband, Jason of Cherryville and Leigh Cain of Grand Prairie, TX.; grandchildren, Johnny, Jason and Brandon Renfro; and numerous great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services with Lawrence J. Boehm officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Saturday after the service at the funeral home. Full military honors will be observed.
