Jim Mcnabb

James Douglas "Jim" McNabb, age 62, passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 in Matthews, North Carolina. He was born January 25, 1955 in Toronto, Canada to the late Stuart and Janice Thompson McNabb. He moved to the Carolinas in 1996 where he worked in banking and then went on to become a successful realtor. Jim was a smart, funny individual who could make anyone laugh with his witty one-liners. He enjoyed traveling with his husband, John and spending time with his pugs, Austin and Vegas.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his dog, Bruno.

He is survived by his partner of 20 years, John H. Sloan; dogs, Austin and Vegas and many close friends and extended relatives.

Services will be private.
