Jenny Neal Osborne

Jenny Marie Neal Osborne, age 41 of Vale, passed away after a short battle with T- cell lymphoma and an extended battle with liver disease, Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Atrium Health – Cleveland. She was born June 7, 1982 in Lincoln County to Lydia Humphries Neal and the late Roger Wayne Neal.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Wayne Neal; and her son, Sabastian Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Allen Osborne; sons, Wade Fredell, and Thomas Smith; daughter, Hope Osborne; granddaughters, Isabella Nicholle Bost, and Melia Dawn-Ann Carroll; brother, Gary Neal; mother, Lydia Humphries Neal; mother-in-law, Tanya Osborne; sisters-in-law, Morgan Osborne, and Meredith Osborne; special aunt, Barbara Mauney; her Lowes M.S.T. family; her cat, Sushee; and her dog, Lil’ bit.

Jenny was a member of Hull’s Grove Baptist Church. She was a former Med-Tech and CNA with Somerset Court of Cherryville and was currently employed with Lowe’s of Lincolnton. She was very artistic and enjoyed working with crafts. She loved to bake and made many custom cakes for family events and special occasions. She loved being with her family and grandbabies and taking day trips to the mountains, as well as riding the Blueridge Parkway and the Tail of the Dragon. Jenny had an amazing personality that brought joy and love to so many people. 

Jenny’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Atrium Health – Cleveland I.C.U. team for their special care during this difficult time.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home.
