Lillie Jean Beaver Crumpton, age 80, of Black Avenue, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Atrium Health – Cleveland. She was born September 7, 1942 in Cherokee County, NC to the late Mont Laffette and Madge Adams Beaver. She was an 11th grade graduate of Northbrook High School, and a 12th grade graduate of Clover High School. She worked for many years as a Registered CNA. She was a member of Revival Tabernacle of Cherryville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Madison Crumpton, Jr., daughter, Jane Crumpton McSwain; son, Fredrick Eugene Crumpton; grandson, Shane McEntire; brother, Ronnie Beaver; sisters, Trula Ball, Reba Barns, and Peggy Wallace.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Lee Crumpton; grandchildren, Ashley Crumpton, Matt Crumpton (Jessica), Hannah Crumpton, Tiffany Crumpton, Jessica Hernandez, Allen McEntire, Dale McSwain, Daniel McSwain, and Casey Hull; 10 great-grandchildren, brothers, Raymond Beaver, Tom Beaver, Max Beaver, John Beaver, Kenneth Beaver, and Carl Beaver; and sister, Rosemary Cabe.
Her family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2022 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services with Minister Tena Pearison officiating.
Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
