Jared Colin Ramsey, age 72, of Stanley died Monday, February 8, 2016 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born June 18, 1943 in Gaston County to the late Clyde and Pearl McCall Ramsey. Jared was a retired driver for Marco.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eason Dean Ramsey; and sister, Annya Ramsey Brackett.
Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Brenda Allen Ramsey.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Dale Hendricks officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 10:15-10:45 AM at the funeral home.
