Janice Robinson Brooks

Janice Marie Robinson Brooks, age 72, of Lincolnton, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Hickory Falls Health & Rehabilitation in Granite Falls. Janice was born July 24, 1952, in Lincoln County to the late Charles Ramsuer and Francis Robinson. She was a member of Rudisill Chapel AME Zion Church in Cherryville. Janice enjoyed puzzles, especially word searches. She cherished nothing more than spending time with her church family and grandkids.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, John Brooks, Sr.; and sister, Felicia Ramsuer.

Survivors include her daughter, Jessica Bowden; son-in-law, Temin Bowden; sons, Deril Robinson, Micheal Robinson, and John Brooks, Jr.; brothers, William Robinson, Reggie Robinson, Von Lynch, Monte Ramsuer, and Von Ramsuer; sisters, Renee Brooks, Margeret Jackie Robinson, Doreatha Mclain, and Frankie Marie Smith; and grandchildren, Quinlin Bowden, Zykeibren Bowden, Alexis Bowden, Jayden Hamooz, Jordan Brooks, and Devon Brooks.

In accordance with Janice’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time.
