James Hamrick

James Bruce Hamrick, 65, of Atlantic lane, died December 1, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Cherokee County, South Carolina on November 29, 1950; a son to Emma B. Hinson Hamrick of Polkville and the late William Dude Hamrick. He enjoyed sharing time with his grandchildren and yard sitting under the tree.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Hart Hamrick; son, Burt Timothy Hamrick of Lincolnton; step children, Jonathan Bradshaw of Lincolnton and Mandy Baumgardner(Homer) of Lincolnton; brother, Don Hamrick of Polkville; sister, Ola Mae Cochran(Bill) of Rutherfordton; three grandchildren, Emilee, Thomas, and Alice Baumgardner.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a brothers Lee Hamrick and Billy Darvy Hinson.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services in the chapel. Burial to follow at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery. Family will be receiving friends Friday at the funeral home from 11:30-12:45 PM and other times at the home.
