Inez Clark

Inez Mauney Clark, 90, of Bessemer City, died Feb. 7, 2013 at the Robin Johnson House.

Mrs. Clark was born on January 29, 1923 in Gaston County a daughter of the late Ervin and Loretta Metcalf Mauney. She was a member of Hephizibah Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and Elder for many years and a member of the choir. Inez was retired office manager for Joel Togs.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Miles Rhyne Clark, brother Ralph Mauney and a sister Vergie Aderholt.

Survivors include her son Miles "Tim" Clark of Bessemer City, daughter in law Marie Clark of Gastonia, grandchildren Derek Lee Clark and wife Randi, of Bessemer City and Michelle Rose and husband John of Dallas, sister Millie Mauney of Lincolnton, four great grandchildren, special sister in law Myrtle Clark, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 PM at Hephizibah Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jeff Osbourne officiating with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-1:45 PM at the church.
