Henry Myers

Henry Dayton Myers, age 56, of Hoffman Road, passed away peacefully Friday, January 21, 2022 at his residence. He was born May 6, 1965, in Gaston County to the late George Howard and Betty Marr Myers.

Henry (or as most of us call him, "Moose") was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Carolina Tarheels. He loved his sports almost as much as he loved his family, lol. In all seriousness, he was the type of person that took care of everyone around him & would put them before himself. He was looked up to and loved dearly by everyone that had the pleasure of knowing him (including his little dog "Reese Cup" that would force her way in front of & beside him every chance that she got). And from all of us, Moose; your caring heart will be missed by all. Rest in peace & have a drink with Mawmaw Betty and Daddy for us. Until we meet again, we love you.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Howard and Betty Marr Myers.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Richard David Price; Sisters, Deborah Allen, Joyce Coldsmith, Rhonda Williams (Mike), Brenda Stacey (Donnie); nephews, Brandon Myers, Doug Lunsford, Timothy Benner, Martino Sauter; Nieces, Jennifer Canipe (Brian), Kelly Mapes (Marshall), Chasity Lunsford, Ashley Holt (Robert), Brandy

Benner; great-nieces and nephews, Jackson, Libby Grace, Mark, Brittany, Jordan, Ryder, Kira, Brooklyn, Braiden, Kenneth, Addyson and Reagan.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Carpenter Porter Funeral and Cremation Services.

His family will receive friend from 2:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Face coverings are suggested.

Burial will be private.
