Helen A. Beam

Helen Juanita Adams Beam, formerly of Queens Dr. passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019.  She was born July 6, 1927 in Alexander County to the late Edna Duncan Adams.  She was a member of First Baptist Church and a retired teacher with Gaston County Schools and NC Department of Education.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dayne Peter Beam; and brother, Robert Adams.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki Beam Daugherty and husband, Ivan Daugherty of Charlotte; granddaughter, Dayna Daugherty and great granddaughter, Emily Levan; grandson, Donivan Daugherty and wife, Brandy Daugherty and great granddaughter, Isabel Daugherty.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating.  Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 PM prior to the service at First Baptist Church.
