Helen Elmore

Helen Jean Wise Elmore, age 87, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Carolina Care and Rehabilitation. She was born May 14, 1933 in Lincoln County to the late Howard and Grace Lynn Wise.

Helen attended Lincolnton Seventh Day Adventist Church of. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and jig-saw puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomas Elmore; sister, Patricia Wise Cash; and her son, Todd Elmore.

She is survived by her son, Jackie Elmore (Judy); daughters, Benita Dunning (Mark), and Cynthia Swisher (John); stepsons, Jack Thomas Elmore, Jr., Michael Elmore (Donna Kay), and Jerry Dean Elmore (Katherine Paulette); brothers, Howard Arnold Wise (Priscilla), and Alan Wise (Susan); sister, Mary Lou Wise Osborne; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Mrs. Elmore will Lie-In-State from 1:00pm to 3:00pm Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday November 29, 2020 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Oscar Montes officiating.

Due to COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be observed.
