Harriet Mcclure

Harriet Marlene McClure, age 62 of Coy Circle, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at White Oak Manor in Kings Mountain. She was born January 14, 1956 in Gaston County to the late Sarah Elmore McClure and Harry and Peggy McClure of Hickory. She was formerly employed with Gaston County Schools and was of the Baptist faith. Harriet loved animals and going to the beach. She enjoyed reading her Bible and had a passion for always helping others.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shelby McClure.

In addition to her father and step-mother, Harry and Peggy McClure, she is survived by her daughters, Pamela Friday and husband, Timothy of Kings Mountain and Misty Haynes of Bessemer City; grandchildren, Seth Friday, Logan Friday, Colin Friday, and Zachary Chick; siblings, Jimmy McClure of Hickory and Renee Setzer and spouse, Tripp of Myrtle Beach; niece, Charity Benner and husband, David; nephew, Todd McClure and wife, Melanie; and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Long Creek Church Cemetery in Dallas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
