Harold Moore

Harold Gene Moore, age 56, of DeVenny Rd., died on September 25, 2013, in Gaffney after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Cherokee, SC on February 15, 1957 a son of the late Hazel George and Frances Lamb Moore. He worked as a drywall installer for Cherokee Acoustics and loved motorcycles.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Herbert Moore.

Survivors include his Fiancée of 13 years, Debbie Floyd, a son Ramie Pennington of Gaffney S.C. and a daughter Francine Porch (Rusty) of Lenoir, numerous grandchildren and special grandson Jacob Webster, stepdaughters, Amy Brady (Doug Morrison) of Waco and Christina Alexander (Jamie Webster) of Shelby, a brother Douglas Wayne Moore (Nellie) of Hickory Grove, a sister Linda Reuschling (David) of Belmont, and many friends of Cherokee Acoustics.

Funeral will be held at 3:30 PM Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Elisa Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery, Cherryville. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:15 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
