Harold Davis

Harold D. Davis, 80, of North Dixie St., died January 7, 2013 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. He was born on October 8, 1932 in Gaston County a son of the late Albert Franklin and Estrea Carpenter Davis. Mr. Davis was a retired from commercial construction and a dairy farmer.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Leon Davis and a sister Edna Rayfield.

Survivors include his sons Harold D. Davis, Jr and wife Sherri of Cherryville, Brent Davis of Cherryville, Ricky Davis and wife Lois of Shelby and Todd Davis and wife Dana of Cherryville, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, and a brother G. K. Davis of Crouse.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Carpenter's Funeral Home at 3 PM with Rev. Bobby Holtsclaw officiating with burial in Mary's Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Todd and Dana Davis, 1739 Martin Rd., Kings Mountain, NC
