Gary Allran

Gary Lon Allran, age 88 passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at Atrium Health Lincoln. He was born April 30, 1930 in Gaston County to the late Howard Wayne and Dorothy Sullivan Allran. He was director of computer operations and truck transportation at Carolina Freight Carriers and attended St. John's Lutheran Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Julia Stroup Allran and daughter, Julie Allran.

He is survived by his children, Alice Smith, Clara Bost, and Chip Allran; grandchildren, Clifton, Meg and Betsy; and seven great-grandchildren.

All services will be private.
