Frank Osborne

Henry Franklin “Frank” Osborne, age 81 of Spring Street, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center.  He was born November 30, 1940 in Samson County, NC to the late Henry Biggs and Alene Peterson Osborne.  Frank graduated from Clinton High School and served as Dispatcher with Carolina Freight for 28 years.  He also owned Cherryville Tree Service for many years.  Frank was a member of First Baptist Church where he formerly served on the deacon board.  He was also a former Mason and Shriner and served for 8 years on Cherryville City Council.  He enjoyed Duck Hunting and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Adrienne Beam Osborne; children, Elizabeth Osborne and Chris Osborne, all of Cherryville; siblings, Jimmy Osborne and wife, Dottie of Clinton, NC, Wayne Osborne of Harrells, NC, Jane Jenkins of Cherryville, NC, Charles Osborne of Harrells, NC, and Mary Sholar of Maple Hill, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. David Bame officiating.  Burial will follow at Cherryville City Memorial Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:30 to 11:45 AM prior to the service at the church.
