Evelyn Aderholt

Evelyn Dellinger Aderholt, 76, of Lander's Chapel Church Rd., died Jan 5, 2014 at Lincoln Nursing Center. She was born on August 15, 1937 in Catawba Co., a daughter of the late Roland and Mary McAlister Dellinger.

Mrs. Aderholt attended Crouse United Methodist Church, Graduate of Tryon High School and retired with 35 year's service at Mohican Mills. She was the sweetest lady you would ever met and loved to cook, can and bake for everyone.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Fred Aderholt on 2008, a brother Tommy Dellinger and a sister Hilda Elmore.

Survivors include her son Todd Aderholt of Crouse, and three sisters Ann Carpenter, of Bakersville, Audrey Metcalf of Charlotte, and Irma Metcalf of Macon, GA

Funeral services will be held Thursday 2 PM at Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Jerry Lail officiating with burial to in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 12:30-1:45 PM.
