Eunice Chesser

Eunice Thelma Morrison Chesser, age 94 of Diana Rd. died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her residence. She was born on February 26, 1920 in Gaston County to the late Henry S. and Emma Lee Berry Morrison. Eunice had retired from Carlton Yarn Mill and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Solomon Chesser; sister, Ethel Morrison Stroupe; and brothers, Eston, Lester, and Grady Morrison.

Survivors include her son, Jerry Lee Trees and wife, Jewel of Charlotte; grandchildren, Deborah Lego and husband, Robin of Concord and Vickie Robinette and husband, Robert of Troutman; great grandchildren, Leah Noe and husband, Joshua, Hunter, and Collin; great-great grandchildren, Peyton and Raelyn; and her loving dog, Connie.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Carpenter's Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Wayne Key, Rev. Ken Gibson, and Rev. Winston Morrison officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 to 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
