Ethel Mellon

Ethel Paulette Bradley Mellon, 58, of West 4th St., died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her residence. She was born on February 21, 1957 in Cleveland County to the late David Gerald and Ida Jane Abernathy Bradley. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was employed at Peak Resources.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mellon.

Survivors include her children, Chris Mellon and wife, Joy of Cherryville, and Wendy Allen of Cherryville; brothers, David Bradley of Fort Worth, Hank Bradley and wife, Angie of Vale, and Stacey Bradley and wife, Jennifer of Cherryville; sisters, Susan Whitworth of Vale, Melissa Wacaster and husband, Rick of Waco, Teresa Martin and husband, Ronnie of Lincolnton, and Loretta Howell and husband, Jamie of Cherryville; and grandchildren, Cameron Rann, Devin Allen, Hannah Allen, Haley Allen, and Logan Allen.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Key and Rev. Dale Mellon officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
