Dennis Bolick, Sr.

Dennis Lee Bolick, Sr. 77 of Capernaum Rd., passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Atrium Health Shelby. He was born on October 25, 1943 in Catawba Co.  He was the son of the late John William and Dorothy Mae Williams Bolick.

Mr. Bolick was retired from Pipeline Construction and enjoyed watching movies and gardening.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sons Christopher Lee Bolick and Philipp William Bolick and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years Kathryn Davis Bolick, son Dennis Lee Bolick, Jr of Cherryville, a brother Jerry Bolick of Lincolnton seven grandchildren Christopher, Shawn, Philipp, Jr, Tammy, Heather, Brittany, and Nicki and numerous great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday December 3, 2020 at Carpenter-Porter Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Steve Stansbury officiating. A guest register will be available from 1:00 to 1:45pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19 restrictions face coverings and social distancing will be observed.

Burial will be private.
